Lilith, Feminist Icon among Witches
Lilith, Feminist Icon among Witches
£225.00
Legend has it that Lilith was the first wife of Adam, expelled from Eden for refusing to play the subserviant little woman. Ever since, she has haunted the imagination of men, terrifying in her independence & transgression, embodied in the screech owl that preys by night. An ideal ally when one is standing strong & abiding by one's own values.
Sitting almost 9" (23cm) tall, or standing at 17 1/2" (44.5cm), Lilith is handsewn using only recycled fabrics, including a swooping skirt of blue & black devore velvet & a bodice of vintage satin. Upon her chest is her sigil, whilst her limbs are wrapped in web-like lace (plus a couple of snakes for good measure)
